Ingredients:200g paneer, cubed
1 cup green peas
2 tbsp oil or ghee (clarified butter)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder (adjust to taste)
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt, to taste
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the green peas and cook for 5 minutes.
Add paneer cubes and gently mix them with the gravy. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour in the milk or heavy cream and stir well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes
until the flavours blend.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
